Caught in a bind as the newbie! In my first month at the City Planning Office, I stumbled upon some glaring non-compliance issues in zoning reports that could skew development plans. Given that these discrepancies could impact housing regulations for thousands, I'm torn. Speaking up could spotlight important errors, but it might also rock the boat early in my tenure. Should I voice these concerns now or wait to gather more evidence? How would you navigate this, especially so early in your role?

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. I’m confused because we’re doing the work either way and “spending” in labor/resources.

Has this ever happened to you that each time you meet your bf/gf , there is extreme nervousness from both sides ? It’s a good kind of nervousness (shyness , awkwardness) and almost feels like meeting someone you have known forever for the first time?

I have realized I grew up in a household where my dad did not treat my mom as an equal. He belittles her, is rude and convinced his way is the only way.

It is painful to say, but some of this shows up in me and in my relationship. I am starting to catch myself, and it to me seems to be more of a reaction than anythjng that is ever intentional.

Has anyone been through a situation that you were in a terrible relationship ( stress,anger, fights, swears, physical abuse, ego clashes) and how did you resolve it? Some might have worked on and stayed in the relationship and some might have broken up. I am looking for answers from both sides. How did you stay/work on it and how did you break up and move on? Me and my partner have strong feelings for eachother and are almost inseparable despite going through so much.

I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!
