How is anybody going to be able to answer this with zero context or additional info?

Depends on where you lateraled and your PG. Generally, firms are going to want a couple year look before elevating someone to even NEP, so you may be setting your timeline back a bit. It's also really hard to make equity at some firms even in the best of circumstances where you are a known commodity, but again that's PG specific.
It depends on your performance but if there are people ahead of you in the group to make partner then you have to wait your turn
I think this highly depends on the group. It also depends on how many attorneys the group is allowed to put up for promotion each year. I know that my practice group is one that has a lot of senior level laterals. Those senior level laterals basically have to wait behind the other senior level attorneys in the group that are on the partner track. This also highly dependent on whether you will be supporting a highly influential partner. If that partner vouches for you could possibly skip the line.
I’m really curious about this too given many firms have junior partners made at 7/8th years.
I think it’s only slightly less than a homegrown associate.
