How long it will take the HR to contact us? It shows HR as contractor. And, how much can I ask for Data Science Engineer 5 position at Comcast?

My DOJ with PWC AC Bangalore is in the first week of April 2022 as per Offer Letter. YESTERDAY evening I have received an E-Mail stating my DOJ is changed to 03-Mar-2022 which is TODAY.
