Today, I was looking through other bowls and see comments like: “Anyone tired of chasing money?” “Is it just me or as I get older do you realize how little awards and accolades mean?” And I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have my hope in something other than my work. I hope my coworkers see that in me, too. That I work hard but advertising is not what fulfills me.

I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? Exit interviews, who has access to them? ACN says it's kept within HR and if managers were to ask for them, they'll get turned away. Is that so? Can MD/leadership's from your practice see them?

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

I left my last company because I was never assigned any work to do and spent most of my day staring at the walls in my room, averaged 5-6 hours of work a week. I’ve been in my new role for about 6 months and no matter how much I offer to help I am still assigned very little actual work and average a few hours a week.
