Creative director. UX design director. I’m blessed to have had a creative career well into my 50’s. I can’t stop feeling that my time is limited and I can’t ride this into retirement. A director position opened at my company that will take me out of the creative work. Has anyone faced this kind of decision?

Just got a job offer at an agency I’m really excited about, but it’d be a complete lateral move. Same position and same amount of pay now. Is it worth it? My current company is “taking me off payroll” but instead of laying me off or firing me, are fully expecting me to take up an hourly contractor position for $30/hour with no specified time or guarantee of hours. How do I respectfully tell them no?

I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. I didn't particularly enjoy either role and am not interested in moving over to the buy-side or some monotonous FP&A role. Hi guys, I am looking for a change after 11 years serving in the current organization. I have total 13 yrs exp. with only 13 LPA as I am in the same organization and didn't switch. With EY in the HR discussion they stated 19.4 LPA fixed, but I requested for 20 LPA fixed (though the difference is not much). The HR stated they may need to take approvals and the call ended. Do you know whether they will come back? How many days usually it takes HR to come back? It's the 3rd day almost.
