If you left it off your resume, how do they know you worked there?
Oh I see what you mean now. You’re trying to work there again. I don’t see why it would ding you, unless you left because of something negative or were let go.
Yeah, NGL that’s tough. You should’ve disclosed that early on in the interview process and saved everyone’s time.
Did you check the box on the application saying you’ve worked there or at a subsidiary? If it’s a massive corporation they may not care, but generally leaving 2 months in is a pretty bad burned bridge.
Unless they’re a disorganized company, they already knew you worked there before. Their internal systems flag previous employees as eligible or non-eligible to be hired again. The hard part is that part of the check is looking to see if what your resume shows aligns with your actual history so I would explain first, and not wait to be asked.
