A lot of things have just been magnified. The rich people are shockingly more rich (and you can feel it in town). Nice areas have gotten even nicer. Bad areas have gotten worse. Wealth inequality has grown. Home affordability is much worse outside of the city but fairly flat in the city, interest rates aside
I agree with this. Everything is just more.
The bigger question is what you miss/want regarding SF. It’s also important to talk about where in the city you want to be and what you wish to do there: some neighborhoods have changed more than others!
This! This is why I never ever want to be in NYC. People are rude and also glamorize being rude.
