I am S3 and PwC is going to file AOS (i140 premium processing and i485 concurrently) soon in October with medical. Will getting promoted to Manager in January 2022 impact my application ? Is that okay ?
I’m realizing I have a lot of fear—mostly related to health stuff and death. Feel like people are getting sick left right and center (not talking about covid). I’ve never had anyone close to me become very sick or die—don’t know what I would do if this happened. I’m also overly concerned about my health and seem to be at the doctor every month to get something checked. Can anyone relate or provide suggestions on how to overcome something like this?
In a month, Ill be celebrating my 30th birthday. Any suggestions on some crazy celebrations ideas?
Currently I am serving notice period. My manager is asking me to apply one sick leave every week. He said it doesn’t matter in TCS. Is there any possibility that HR may create an issue later regarding this or in any way affect my LWD?
Are there any good ways to make money outside of a typical career job? I’ve tried audit and currently in advisory. The job just makes me depressed, and I’m thinking the accounting space just isn’t for me. My husband works, so I don’t have to worry with medical benefits etc if I quit. We don’t have kids yet so I need something to keep me busy, and I would like to still have an income and make decent money. Any ideas?
How sick is this?
Here’s a perfect example of totalitarianism, from an unelected official no less. You give them a finger, they’ll take the whole arm (and other organs if you’re below a certain age, but let’s leave that discussion for another day. Background: military, medical kept losing my record, received multiple doses of the same thing over and over, even the dreaded Anthrax series. This isn’t about the vaccine or preventing anything, this is about abuse of power and authority.
If you got sick after your 2nd shot, how long after the shot did you start feeling sick? Just curious.

Junior working with ex v5 senior in M&A. He consistently asks me to turn major deliverables at the worst hours, think 10 pm Friday/Sat/Sun night “tonight” or “by tomorrow morning” even when there is no closing date in sight. When I push back he says my behavior is unacceptable. The times when I have been able to actually meet his expectations and give him the deliverable for review, he will get back to me with comments at least a week later. Sick of these false deadlines. Help
Do any of you lot worry about agism in the industry? I'm about 5yrs in and thinking about this more and more. Noticed thay most my colleagues, in mutliple agencies, were about my age with 5yrs give or take each way. Its obviously not a new industry, so either people were getting out of it by 35 or not many of them were getting hired past then. Been tellling myself ill learn to code one day to future proof but I've done fuck all so far. Anyone else planning for the future or am I being paranoid?

Otherwise, they are all tax audit or tech consulting. Are the analyst/associate/senior management consultant roles titled differently? FYI, I had trouble with this pre-covid. Thank you

Is audit experience mandatory for advisory in big 4? I applied EY FAAS but has been told by recruiter that audit experience is required. So they recommend me to go to audit team for two busy season then apply for FAAS. Can anyone let me know if It’s true? Also if I go to audit WAM. Btw I do not have audit experience now.
