Anyone here own a saw stop PCS or a Powermatic PM2000? Ive been setting aside money in my woodworking slush fund for a good cabinet saw to replace my contractor saw, and I’m intrigued by the SS’s hotdog sensing technology. Eager to hear opinions from anyone who owns one of the two saws.

What is the current market worth of a security architect (cloud and application security) with 9.7 years of experience?

Skillset: Application and cloud security architecture, threat modelling, SSDLC, secure design reviews, SAST (code review), DAST/pentesting, DevSecOps, cloud native security (microservices, containers, Kubernetes), etc.

I have interviews lined up with Honeywell, Deloitte, KPMG, Tata Play, GE, etc. Just want to test the waters before I answer the salary expectation question.

Just got a job at Deloitte M&A in Atlanta and am currently looking to buy a house. Would you advise I buy closer to Atlanta or the suburbs? Colleague has put in his resignation. They are offering him whatever he wants to stay including 4days a week work from home. He’s not bluffing and plans to leave. However, at this same time I was asked to begin working as a supervisor for the engineering team and I would get a promotion at the beginning of the year. I have been supervising and managing our team of 6 for months with no extra pay or bonuses. I was told yesterday that raises will be light this year. Yet today they spare nothing.

New project is halfway complete: a combination outfeed and assembly table. Still need to build drawers for the cabinets, glue and edge the top, and add T-Track, but I’m enjoying working in this cooler weather. Hope all of you guys and gals are doing well! I’ve been spamming this board with amp builds over the past several months; if it’s too monotonous please let me know. I have finally gotten the hang of batch producing guitar amp cabinets and I’m proud of how far my tolex game has come. Recent build that is being shipped to a customer today: 1x12” amp with blonde nubtex covering and an oxblood grille.
