ORD is a parking lot....having so much fun 😑😑😑
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

A consulting firm usually doesn’t allow their full time employees to be contracted by another consulting firm. So you may need to be careful, as this is probably fire on the spot kind of thing.
If you are OK with the risk, it’s up to you on if you can manage both jobs
Dude this is likely in direct conflict with Outside Business Activities. If you get caught, you’ll be fired instantly and there will likely be legal ramifications (not criminal obviously, but civil)
just think through if there is a chance youd get caught. Ive done multiple consulting firm gigs at once, but you really need to be on your toes about any vulnerabilities in your plan.
Have a plan for what you would put on your linkedin for example. You never want to mention the 2nd gig. You might want to also not add new connections tied to this 2nd gig (feign that you dont use linkedin)

This only works when one (better yet both) of the jobs is super chill and only requires <20h of work per week. T2 is usually pretty intense and contract work is hit or miss, since you’re usually brought in for a very specific purpose.
