My general 3 day London itinerary (assuming its your first time):
Day 1: National Gallery, Portrait Gallery if you have time, Buckingham Palace
Day 2: British Museum, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens
Day 3: Tower of London, London Eye
Be sure to fit in: Afternoon Tea, Indian food, SE Asian food (use yelp or food blogs to find)
Note: Museums and gardens close pretty early, you might need to get an early start to fit everything in. Some places you can skip the line or get a cheaper ticket if you book online so be sure to check. Lots of student discounts so bring your old college ID
Barcelona: Park Guell, Parc de la Ciutadella, Gothic Quarter, the fountain in Montjuic
Opium
Generator Hostel was actually pretty good if you do go that route. Walking distance to a lot of the main things.
OP: agree with D1 even though in hindsight I would really avoid hostels, just not my thing...to each their own
Primrose Hill in London will have some cool views...all touristy things are pretty accessible from the tube, make sure to get an oyster (mta card) for London
You can find a nice AirBnB for the same cost as a hostel.
The Shard in London is great!
Barcelona is great to just walk around and get lost in. Enjoy the wandering! :)
You gotta check out D’z....in Barcelona
Just make sure to stay in the right hostel
I did solo travel in London. Found a hostel in Leicester Square and it was super convenient to all the main spots. How long will you be there?
Tarragona is an hour train ride away from Barcelona, cool little town with great people and Roman Ruins, will definitely fill up your day and worth a visit
La sagrata familia church is barcelona.
Hawksmoor for a nice steak and Corsica Studios for a club in London.
Westin in Berlin is OK (paid myself). The Trafalgar in London is great (company paid).
Get tickets online in advance to the Reichstag dome. They’re free but spots fill up
In Berlin, eat at Gugelhof (reservation recommended) and Marjellchen (reservations a must, even for 1, I suggest asking to sit at the bar)
