I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? 6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I am an m&a junior at a firm that is generally considered a lifestyle firm (pay below market but target hours are lower unless pushing for partner). Over the pandemic period, we have had so many senior associates and paralegals leave that there is no one to ask questions to and I’m doing paralegal work (we are all in survival mode). I’m not convinced the partners in my team (who are aware of the problem but cannot convince management) can recruit people to replace given we pay below market.

I have joined wipro on 31st Jan 2022 so as per 6 month calculation my probation period will end on 31st July 2022.

If before 31st July I am putting down papers my Notice period woud be of one months right and not 3 months since my probation ends after 31st.

As per offer letter it's mentioned in probation notice period is of 30 days.

Please let me know if my understanding is right ?
