Data Engineer (TCS) with 5 YOE.

I'm currently on bench and have been mapped to a project, with the client interview scheduled for next week.

At the same time, I've been selected for a DE role at Wipro and awaiting the offer release, which is also expected by next week.

Given the difficulty of getting projects while on bench, I'm unsure whether I should actively pursue and clear the client interview or simply sit it out not performing well?

I just accepted a VP role in-house and am about to have four direct reports and a team of 10 people working under me. Some of these people are way more experienced than I am, and I’m feeling very imposter syndrome-y. Any books or podcasts or recommendations that might make me feel more prepared?

Does anyone here suffer from bipolar disorder? How do you manage it and working in law? I see a therapist, and a psychiatrist, and am on medication, but I still have days where I wake up and I’m so depressed I can’t move. I’m working on remedying this with my doctors, but how does one approach mental health issues with their employer? I never felt the need to until I realized how much being bipolar can affect my ability to work.

How does below compare with regional comp for big4? Considering the salary progression and 1/2-bed flats in London being ~£400-500k I can’t see how it’s feasible to ever own a place until SM grades by which point most will be in early/mid-30s...

London comp: I’m looking to move from one of the few fund of funds outside of London and looking at associate roles in VC fund of funds + co-investment or PE secondaries/buyout. Recruiter has told me salaries are £100k/£130k respectively. What are peoples salaries + bonus for these or similar roles in London? Would also be interesting to know analysts comp.

Hi fishes, I have 2 offers-
Thermo Fisher for Data Engineer in AWS and Python and Ameriprise as Lead Developer for Informatica Powercenter. Ameriprise is offering 50k more in my monthly salary than Thermo Fisher. My preference is to join in where I can grow and get a good learning for future career growth. Also, work life balance should be good in the organization.
Please help me with making a clear decision. And i have 8+ YOE.
