Tips for not falling asleep while breastfeeding at night? I already have snacks & keep baby a few steps away so I physically have to get up and walk to grab him, but I cannot keep my eyes open! He is a good sleeper for his age (4 weeks) so I am not even that tired. He is just so snuggly and adorable and next thing you know, I’m dozing off.

Rant: I hate when you get in an argument with parents and they say “you’re just like your other parent”. Like ... you married them! You procreated with them! That’s literally YOUR fault that you weren’t choosy enough. Anyway pls don’t have children with people if you’re just going to hate your kid for being like them.

My gyno suggested I get some baseline hormone testing because I’m 39 and still would like to have a baby, but also been experiencing some pre-menopausal-ish symptoms. I am on the pill every day, no breaks, no periods. She said I only have to stop taking the pill for a week, then get the blood test on day 7. Has anyone gotten this done? I haven’t had a period or PMS for at least a decade. Should I stock up on Midol and chocolate??

Wanted to share this somewhere. My father has been very aggressive and keeps on creating quarrel like situations at home day in and day out. I care for him a lot. However, i have tried both calm and aggressive tones during quarrels, but it also didn't help. Now it's becoming unbearable to keep on getting involved with his quarrels over little things... considering this scenario I am also not proceeding with matrimonial process as not sure how the girl will handle this 28M here Any suggestions?

Not a travel recommendation, but travel-related. I’m a newish pet parent (kitten less than a year old that I’ve adopted recently) and trying to wrap my head around how frequently people with pets travel for pleasure and what they do with their pets - sitters versus boarders or something else. What’s normal/average?
