I am looking for a job abroad.. I have total 16 years plus experience in pharmaceutical sales. But I am open to work in any segment. My ultimate goal is to work abroad and to grow along with my organization.

I just graduated from a nontarget in Dec 2020 & am currently interning at PwC before I go back to do my Masters. My initial plan was to accept my full time offer and slowly work my way into IB.

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. Sales and Trading vs PE? What is comp, WLB and career trajectory like. Doing my MBA now and likely going into consulting, but not sure. Might plan to exit to PE but if S&T offers decent hours and similar pay, may just skip the whole consulting to PE business.

I wanted to leverage the hive mind in finding out how best to negotiate a verbal offer for a 100%-remote Product Manager role in NYC, with a IT infrastructure/digital services firm (MNC but non-American):

Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

Bonus: 15%

No stock options

How competitive is this, and what should I negotiate for please? The written offer comes after verbal agreement.

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.
