Hi Fishers, I have accepted Walmart offer and my BGV has started 3 weeks ago. How do I check my BGV status? I will be joining in mid May. Also, I have been hiding one of the company where I had worked for 45 days and then absconded due to personal issues. Would it create any trouble? They had created my PF account though. Any help would be highly appreciated

Get a second opinion and see a specialist if possible. I don’t know anything about this condition but Ive been through a lot with my dogs and those are my defaults when something doesn’t seem right or an explanation is lacking. I’ve also found facebook groups that are extremely helpful. Good luck! I hope that your dog has a long and happy life regardless of any lameness.
Mine had some difficulties with her back end, too. I bought socks called Tiger Paws. They have the grippy on the foot that goes all the way around, so if it gets twisted it still has the grip. They helped her get around on my uncarpeted floors. You may want to try them, even if you just use them for your dog's back paws.
What do they look like
I didn’t finish the post. My dog is still pretty active. She still runs around and plays. Maybe has a hard time going up stairs
The vet should tell you what to do, not being a smart a$$, but that’s literally what we pay them to do
They didn’t say anything
My old girl is having trouble. Vet gave us Rovera she takes twice a day. Just keeping her comfortable at this point. She has days where I see her younger self. Some days are little harder for her. There is another over the counter I’ve heard other people mention giving your dogs glucosamine.
So sorry to hear, and glad you have taken steps to keep her as healthy and happy as possible. I do feel that is important to note that neither prescription Rovera nor glucosamine will treat degenerative myelopathy. Rovera is an NSAID pain reliever that works by reducing inflammation caused by osteoarthritis surgical procedures. DM is not painful, but degenerative, and is also genetic.
Degenerative Myelopathy is a genetic disease that results from the breeding of two parents that both carry the gene mutation that causes the disease. It can be tested for and confirmed with a quick and simple cheek swab, so there isn’t any need or reason to be making assumptions. In many cases, a dog might have one or even no copies of the gene mutation, which makes it highly unlikely, if not impossible, that they will develop the condition at any point during their lives. There are other conditions, such as Chondrodystrophy (CDDY) and Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), that demonstrate similar symptoms but have different prognoses and treatment options. There is also patellar luxation, arthritis, trauma, etc.
Personally speaking- One of my senior boys is one of the “one copiers” for DM. It is highly unlikely that he will ever develop this condition. This was extremely helpful and incredibly relieving to find out the first couple of times he sporadically started limping from a back leg and refusing to put his weight down on it (which -thankfully- has only ever occurred less than a handful of times ever, but of course is scary to see and had me very worried). The answer ended up being a low degree luxating patella, which is common in his breed, manageable and treatable 🙏
