UBS If I had to move within the company to a different location , how does it work? For example if I move from low cost of living area to high cost of living area does the company re-evaluate the base salary within USA? Or do they come back and mention its your family requirement since your partner is located and you are moving ?Suggestions or experiences any !

Larsen & Toubro Infotech Hello Fishes,
Need few valuable suggestions on below situation.
One guy A joined as a fresher in Wipro for 3.5LPA(been 3 months around, no project allocated yet),
And then an offer was in pipeline with Y and finally received an offer with 5LPA and the role is related to cyber security.
Note: pf account is already created by wipro and Y is a good mnc though Any suggestions on how to handle this situation?

Im selected for TCS, i told expected 25 lpa, she told we can give max 19 lpa, i told i have to think, she cut call, next day she told to join call to take screenshot with ID. It's been a week, they didn't send CTC break up, status is "evaluation in progress". They rejected me? Can I expect offer? TIA Tata Consultancy

Between the 3 optum is fine
Wipro - if you want to settle down and want to spend some quality time with friends and family. but don't expect good hikes. You have lot of Java projects in Wipro.
Deloitte - work is high compared to Wipro. Hikes are also good.
Optum - it was good company but I heard some negative news about optum recently.

If you want to settle without any tension, join Wipro and chill.
Whereas, if you want your life to be more spicy, join Deloitte.
Optum, in between these two.
Yes. By spicy, I mean more workload but you will learn a lot. Deloitte on your resume will also give you a boost for future switches.
These days Wipro has become worst company,
Bench period is 45 days only , post which LOP starts, 70-80% variable and no Hike for next 2 years. So choose wisely

Wipro - relaxing env, less pay and less benefits
Optum - Toxic work env, company is in loss and following quiet firing.
What’s quiet firing ? Rather than toxic, it’s micromanagement in our case.
Everywhere same story ….. whoever is in which company currently, he/ahe is telling his/her company worst .
As on bench the same story is happening in all the companies.
Hands down Deloitte.. don't even compare
Optum for good WLB and job security
Optum was great till 2022...
But now ...
- Very poor hike,
- strict WFO checking..I mean u can get even fired for this
- Regular Firing
- Over workload
- Variable pay is also getting deducted by more than 30-40% at source
Go with Deloitte
Optum had a data breach last February and the recent quarter results are in negative.
Also there are layoffs every quarter. This is expected to continue until next March.
The previous year the variable pay is capped at 60% for everyone. This is likely to continue in next year as well.
There was a hiring freeze until recently and due to poor appraisal and negative quarterly results combined with regular layoffs lot of good folks left Optum and hence they have started hiring back.
If you decide to join Optum I won’t expect much from the 10% variable pay. Also the variable payout is yearly so you will get it only if you stay till next appraisal and payout.
Apparently the hack / data breach has still impact on Optum / UHGs finance since they are opting to offer two years of credit and identity monitoring services to all of the affected people. Two third of US claims are processed by CHC (the entity which got hacked) so the financial burden for this is going to be significant.
Wipro aa ja bhai ek dum chill life thode paise Kam hain but no tension of layoff no tension of any project getting shelved good projects on good technologies you have ample scope to train on many advanced tech.
Don't expect too much hike.
Rather build side business along with job and leave corporate
