Agree with MD1. More specifically, compared to the other DMBB counterparts, I would say SC at D is comparable to Senior Partner at the others. At banks, probably more comparable to MD level.

Too many things to write but as an SC in Consulting, you are expected to be able to lead a team/workstream. Aside from knowledge in the domain, you need to have - Strong critical thinking, strategic mindset, demonstrate executive presence and advanced communication skills given you interact with the client a lot. You support proposals, and do other firm initiatives. It’s like being a manager/leader at a different company. Your account leadership should be able to give you an assignment with limited info and you go and figure it out independently. And instead of asking them questions, you first think about it and come up with something before you go back to your leaders for guidance. Also, you’re supposed to think ahead and proactively do things.
Can confirm. The daily responsibilities make me think I’m the CEO of Daddy D. It’s a lot to handle.
