We didn’t get a raise, but our governor did give a $1000 bonus. We didn’t get that much after taxes though. It was a nice sentiment.

Ours 1,000 bonus is said to be in the works.
We received a two year contract with incremental raises each year. Must say we’re doing alright thanks to our school board
We are getting a 5.3% raise for next year.
That’s impressive!!
Sorry, had to get off the floor from laughing….
We are supposed to get $2500 from Roy Cooper. That is what he said in order to get us back in the classroom!! Where's my money Roy?????
We get a 4% raise every year we stay in the building.
We also got a $1500 bonus at the end of the school year and another $1500 in October if we stayed.
We get 3,000 compensation for 20-21 sy. 4% comp pay each MP we stay in 21-22. And 1.25% cost of living raise.
No raise in our case, but there is a $1,500 one time bonus for the year.
I'm topped out. The last wage increase was only for teachers in the first 15 years. 🙄 I think they want to push us veterans it, but they don't have anyone to replace us with.
Each year our salary increases by 8% and when top salary is met pay increase by 3%. Every year we also receive a $2500 bonus

No raise? That sucks so bad.
IMO, Everyone working earned a raise in the year of Covid.
If I am correct, districts in GA will receive at least 2% and a step increase.
Expecting a 3% raise plus experience step on salary schedule
My district is giving 3% raise
We finally received a raise after 7 years of not getting one
Again, districts shouldn’t be paying beginning teachers almost the same salary as a veteran teacher with 15 plus years…. That’s a slap in the face to them. Please pay teachers what they deserve comparable to for ex engineers in your area who even have less years than we do of education. Please adjust for cost of living. If this means cutting some district office jobs…. Well we may need to start cutting the “fluff”. I can list several district jobs at the district you don’t need…. They were a “want” in the first place anyway.
This is our last year of a 4 year contract , so the smallest raise, 3%. Negotiations start in the Fall. I start summer school tomorrow. Teachers work 4 hrs, 3 days a week @ $35/hr with a $500 bonus at 3 weeks and another $500 at the end of the six weeks. Para's $25/hr, with $250 bonus at week 3 and week 6.
Salary increases are always connected to medical coverage caps, hours/minutes, and various other issues. It’s never just about “cost of living.”
We get a step increase each year, but I haven't heard anything about an additional raise or bonus specifically related to how hard everyone worked during the pandemic.

1.5%
Some say it does not off-set the health care benefit cost increase.
Several years ago, my district was so proud to announce they were giving teachers a raise. What they didn’t say is that benefits and mandatory retirement contributions were also increasing. With that “raise” my take-home was less than before.
I’m in New Jersey so we settle by district. I work in the lowest paying tech high school in the state. We got less than a 1% raise but a larger increase in the amount we contribute towards health insurance. So we are a net loss again.
