Islam doesn’t require burial in a coffin / box. It is considered makrooh and only few schools of thought allow it if the ground is wet or wild animal will access it.
According to quick google search/ Gemini response-
No, Islamic burial practices are not environmentally harmful; in fact, they are often considered environmentally beneficial because they emphasize simplicity and a natural return to the earth, aligning closely with green burial principles. These practices typically avoid embalming chemicals, non-biodegradable coffins, and large markers, which reduces the environmental impact compared to conventional burials. The focus is on natural decomposition and a quick burial, which has a low carbon footprint and conserves natural resources
They are the least harmful burial option but burial in itself if a bad option. Composting or aquamation is best..environmentally speaking
Had a relative who thought the same way as you. He told his wife to not invite anyone to the funeral…so assuming he did do donations of organs. Allah knows best.
No. It's a religious rite not a science project.
These are the snarky responses no one needs. I’m literally looking for constructive ways to challenge traditional processes with modern , scientifically backed advancements.
