Do titles in industry matter when exploring an exit? Which title seems better - Principal - Strategy or Senior Director - Strategy if everything else is equal.

Looking for some insights on compensation range (base and bonus) for 3rd year Manager in Deloitte US, Customer Strategy and Applied Design practice (C&M). Would location influence the pay (for example New York vs So Cal)?
