But this is not sufficient  for a 5 year experience Data Engineer. So i resigned on 12 th june 2022. My current CTC is 9 lpa and i asked them 15lpa for retain. My friend received two job offers for Account Executive roles: a Mid-Market role with Confluent and an Enterprise role with ThoughtSpot. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales. Thoughtspot is more of a startup culture where most of the sales comes from outbound and it’s a tougher sell.

Last round for a VP level front office transformation role @Citi . TC is looking like 160k base + 20% bonus (5 YOE ). Will be making this in a couple months when promoted to NYC strategy and consulting M1 @ Accenture. Is it worth the move ? Are there other perks I am not considering ?

While my company is transferring me to Canada and can potentially get me back on L1 visa, the shifting situation is stressing me out. Gift giving help: every year around this time my husband brings up his Jan bday and basically demands I spend a lot of $ on him. I find this stressful. All my six-figure salary consultant friends are ranting about how poor they feel right now because their IRAs/portfolios are down. Think the people in this industry need to take time to volunteer or engage with some tougher parts of town and understand that by virtue of even having investment accounts, that they’re more financially safe than at least 50% of America.
