Public transportation
1000% public transit. We might as well not have public transit as it is. The city is too spread out for biking as a means of transportation.
Definitely not bike lanes!!! Like OMG please stop causing traffic with the unused bike lanes!
Public transport
Public transport would be great, but the train is painfully slow and it seems much more realistic to get more protected bike lanes than actually useful transit. And bike lanes are still pretty useful considering the city is relatively small
Not enough bikers to validate bike lane expansion will just cause more traffic and accidents
This. Already reducing lanes and in the summer especially, no one is riding a bike. The suburbs are so spread out so bike lanes don’t make sense at all.
Waste of money as usual.
Public Transportation is way important at the moment.
Public transportation would mean people willing to ride it. Surveys show people think its a great idea for other people, but they aren't giving up their cars. We don't have everyone in the suburbs commuting into downtown. we already havd no space in the roadways, so which roads do you want to sacrifice to light rail? Because its not going underground and its too expensive to elevate. And it still has to comedown somewhere. We have a decent bus system. Just riding the bus is slow. Which is why more people don't do it. Expanding public tansit un Austin is nice in theory, but not in practice.
Light rail running above like Denver and Chicago would be nice. Pipe dream at this pint
Oh the cyclists
More lightrails
Personally I think public transportation just because people are more likely to use that than a bike. While the bike lanes are important I Just don't think they are a top priority as I feel like public transportantion will beneit more folks than the bike lanes will.
