The US tax code is already a charity for billionaires
because that’s illegal and psychotic
If you put that energy into improving yourself rather than thinking about what other people have you will be more successful than you are now.
no idea what you just said, “something wrong with everyone that needs to be fixed”? don’t know what that means and I certainly didn’t say that or mean that
It doesn’t really matter… at that point it’s just numbers on a balance sheet… even with careful planning, they’ll still forfeit 30%+ in estate taxes FBO the US Treasury… more in state taxes… plus they contribute to the global economy…
Not really… all societies, post barter systems, in history operated on some sort of commerce… whether it was gold, silver, nickel… there have always been those that are wealthy and those who are poor…
Your question should really be directed towards the British Empire… they still have sovereignty over a myriad of countries… does that seem fair? Should we go back to divide and conquer? War torn societies fighting over resources?
I know my answer to that…
Only if we sieze all of their assets first and assign a sane person as a guardian for their estate.
not at all, sounds like a nightmare
How much money do you have? Should we take some of that and give it away?
Everyone is aware, even kids, this is news to you? you sound like you just found this out and are shocked by it
“At this point, the issue isn’t charity — it’s policy. When the tax code, loopholes, subsidies, and corporate influence allow billionaires to accumulate wealth at that scale while working families struggle with housing, healthcare, food, and wages, we have to ask who the system is really designed to protect.”
I mean, I’m not unhappy enough that they have money that I’m posting about it.
Just so you'll know this is sarcasm, they already have that it's called a foundation and they have their name on them your questions sound like they come from a person who has an electric car or maybe a Subaru and shops on Amazon.
Humans need to make better decisions for their own lives Bezos or Musk or their money or their decisions does to make my life better or worse as for everyone else if they want better then be willing to work, fight and die for it that's how this country was founded and if I can help I will but if you come for anything I have FAFO
This can’t possibly be a serious question. How on earth does someone in their right mind decide to use precious minutes of their lives to think of such an asinine question then present said question to the rest of the world as being something serious like they are solving world peace. I’m truly embarrassed for the parents of the person that thought of this question and even more for the people that answered it as a serious question. You want to give billionaires who don’t care about no one but themselves, more money but present no solutions to homelessness or starving children. Wow I can’t even begin to comprehend the amount of air you are wasting right now. Do better!
and what you proposed can’t

Somebody sounds bitter far having chosen a less lucrative career path.
They already have all the data they need in perpetuity. I can't see giving them any more than they already have, as they are mentally mediocre anyway. 💙☮️
he doesn’t
What if our founders didn’t “complain” about the British taxation? What if abolitionist didn’t “complain” about slavery? All meaningful change in this country has come from people “complaining” (as you put it. I would call it addressing issues) and asking questions. There are millions of people with the same question in essence. No one asked the question “how should I use my time more efficiently?” But that the question you felt compelled to answer. I guess to defend the helpless billionaires. It appears the point was to be condescending, not helpful. Keep defending billionaires. They really appreciate it.

As far as I am concerned, wealth no matter how you created it or accumulated it, it does not matter, has no value whatsoever, only at point in time that, which is very short relatively speaking, at that point you are at point zero equal to everyone, your wealth even if you had 100 trillion, you still at zero value, that wealth is not going to help you, your behavior how you use the wealth will dictate, your value, which can make you or break you. That is up to individual circumstances not society.
If your unemployed and are wondering why, it might be your personality.
