Offshore tends to struggle when doing the needful and reverting back.
We have a document production group for which this is their sole function. A good amount of the work goes offshore. From pure formatting, alternative graphic options, changing something for a particular printable/presentable format, iPad format, even the websites/interactive storyboards. Low cost and fast. Quality is generally good but normally a portion of the slides I go with my originals cause I don't like their enhancements
You have to be verrry specific in what you want and send examples
Never. It doesn't seem to come back right.
Sometimes
EY 1, what kind of jobs do you send to them? And what is the quality like?
It was terrible and charged $1k
I've heard of people doing this but haven't done it myself. P1, how do you send them requests?
I’ve used them to help with formatting a doc that needed to be blown up for printing. They were super quick and helpful since we wasted an hour trying to figure it out with no luck
Some are awesome and some are not. Mostly formatting what is already there. Otherwise you have to leave specific instructions
LOL M1
In addition to being very specific, the most efficient use of time that I’ve found is to draw it out and send a picture.
Like probably every other firm, we are pressured to use our offshore team more every year. The only way I've found it to be helpful is when a specific consultant can come join the team on site for a few months on a visa, then go back offshore and continue to support. Obviously not possibl on all projects
Op - they have a spark page with all details. Request through MyEnvoy there is a DP option. I pretty much use them for final touch ups and formatting on any large deck.
BCG1 - I’ve found when you just do it yourself it gets done.. :-)
