Does anyone care to explain how promotions work for USDC practitioners? When do we have to let our coaches/USDC know that we would like to be considered? TIA!!

Getting promoted within USDC is very frustrating. Based on experience

Primary Requirement:
Have project approval
Coach approval
Have enough USDC firm Initiatives
Very Strong Snapshots
Most of all , USDC leaders on the PANEL should know you professionally
Have at least been on the same position for 2 years

Secondary Requirement:
Lots of Prayers
Have all your stars aligned and ensure your horoscope
You have at lease tried for promotions 2 times

D8 - Congrats ! But wow, you are the only person that I know have made this possible !

As for transfer to core - did you have to wait till the year end completes ? And how long was the process ?

Beginning of the year, I’ll let my coach and my project leads know I want the target my promotion next year, what I should do and how you could help me get there. My project lead would make a plan with me and I’ll check in with her/him to see my progress.

There is no set date but I’d advise to let them know as soon as possible. There’s a lengthy process that begins with Due Diligence in the Fall. So if you told them now, you’d be considered in the promotions for summer 2024. You tell your coach, if they give a thumbs up then there is paperwork where they help you sort through your projects, prds, etc. they’ll talk with your supervisors and then help you put together some docs that essentially state your case. Then they go in front of a review panel. And if things are good, you get the green light around April/May 2024

Let your coach know and your project team. The person that does your snapshot should be checking a box that says operating at the next level. The panel looks heavily at how many times the box has been checked as well. Next your coach will need to fill out the promotion survey when it comes out. After that the balls in your court to do what it takes to get promoted.

Agree with the process everyone else has mentioned. If it’s SA to SS should be easy.. that’s basically automatic as long as you meet the criteria.

Any advice as to how to help my other-half (who has bouts of anxiety and depression) apply to jobs? He’s going through a particularly rough patch at the moment. We had a big chat the other day which was great! However, even if we agreed that I’m doing everything I can for him (his words) it has to come from him (which we both agreed). He’s having a real mental block (I think with writing cover letters mostly) he describes staring at the screen feeling incapable. Any suggestions?

Hi ,
I have three years of experience with sales and operations in Mortgage (pnb and ICICI).
I wish to start my career in Analytics.
Been preparing for it since last one and half years.
Have done certification courses in Data science and Machine Learning.
Have a good command over python, SQL, tableau and excel.
It would be really awesome if you can help me out with job referrals and any advice you may want to give.

Thankyou

Hi Everyone, I’m looking for advice. Right now I’m currently facing a hard decision. I’ve been at my work for 5 months as an HR assistant and have been given the opportunity to take on the Executive Assistant role. I’m in my early 20’s and still unsure what career path I want to take. I know I want to keep moving up and doing more but again, not sure where I want to be. I’d appreciate your thoughts and advice from your experiences along with pros/cons on either position. Anything would help!
