Does anyone else find Citrix to be a pain in the ass every single time they log in remote? I swear it always makes me enter in my credentials as well as a first passcode before 45 second mark; then the login just pops back up and I have to wait for another passcode and enter that one in before 45 seconds. And then I swear it often says my credentials are wrong when they aren’t and I have to start over entering two separate passcodes. It takes me at least 5 minutes every single time I login.

It may seem obvious, but in my experience partners value trial experience over anything else, so get it however you can. For example, my firm will favor a former prosecutor who has seen the courtroom a lot but has no civil litigation experience (not even a depo) over a seasoned associate who has only second chaired cases with a partner but hasn’t tried a case. Even trying a case and losing gives you credibility at my firm because you still did it.

Recently, my appraisal cycle got completed. So whenever a recruiter asks about CTC, will I need to add the Gratuity and Insurance and then tell the Total number.

In my company Total CTC = CTC + Gratuity + Insurance.

Hey everyone. I'm joining JPMC next week and was wondering do they provide a budget to purchase your own laptop/equipment. My manager said they don't provide laptops and that I can use my own. My laptop isn't the best so I would want to buy a new one.
