Does anyone else just struggle to speak? I feel like sometimes my words just come out jumbled or not well phrased or I say something in a singular way that is supposed to be plural etc. Like I just can't phrase things via words but my mind knows what to say. I also feel like I struggle writing things too. Making things too wordy. Pretty much this entire post.

Ya. It’s ok to collect your thoughts before speaking or jotting down some quick points or using GenAI and then rewording.

Yes, typically more prevalent when I‘m sleep deprived. Collecting thoughts and dotting down some bullets before speaking helps

Yes! Happens quite frequently when talking. I have to consistently remind myself to SLOW DOWN when speaking that’s the only thing that helps. Given that I still hate to talk slower because I’m afraid I’ll lose my thought process.

My team oversees internal comms and we’re in the process of signing on BananaTag.

Any fishies out there that can share what level of reporting + KPIs you’re providing leadership?

We plan to use it for exec comms and department-level leadership (HR, IT, etc.).

We’ve historically done mass communication through Outlook, so this will be our first time getting insight into staff e-mail + Teams performance.

Ive got three interviews coming up and l am wondering how I can improve my chances of getting an offer. Any ideas are welcome. I need a new job like yesterday.

Team just applied for a TS Clearance (defense agency). Trying to assess if it makes sense to wait till the clearance comes through (6 months to a year?) before I job hop. I'm hoping to get some clarity on the following:
1. Can my company withdraw or cancel my clearance if I leave right after I secure a TS?
2. In terms of compensation, how much value (% compensation) does a TS clearance have in the DC area? Places I'm considering: AWS, Azure, GCP, Data bricks, Appian etc.
Any advice, thanks!

Here is my current cocktail: Caffeine 400mg (200 when I wake up then another 200 when I go to the gym 30 minutes later), Modafinil 150, Bupropian XL 150. I used to take adderall but it made me crazy for lack of a better word. Looking to add a stimulant for focus. Suggestions? Currently deciding between Ritalin and Vyvanse. Also, I know I’m a stim junkie I was taking adderall for 20 years so my tolerance is pretty high. Please keep it positive and helpful thanks

Anyone else have a need to exercise daily? A lot of people judge me in a negative way and in reality it is because my ADHD brain needs it. 1) the consistency for schedule 2) exercise can help tone down the symptoms before I sit down for the work day 3) it is the only thing I can control to make it look like I am not a mess (disorganization, interrupting) - basically trying to stay in the game at work based on perception of “having it together”. Just wondering if anyone faces the challenges.

Hello All - I struggle with time management. I take medication but I have no idea whether a task will take 40 mins or 4 hours. Because of this, I over commit and under deliver. Also, having been on the receiving end of criticism, over time I have developed a perfectionist streak. I won't turn it in if it is good enough. How do you break out of this habit?

Any resources to help the brain structure tasks and make better estimates? Much appreciated, thanks!

My psychiatrist today revealed to me that I may have ADHD, still a hypothesis that he is still exploring but from my personal experiences and discussions with therapist, it seems likely.

One example of personal experience is my ongoing prep for case studies as I'm interviewing with a number of firms. I do struggle to keep focus and generally take a bit longer to finish them, specifically the structuring of the case. Does anybody else feel the same way and any recommendations to overcome this?
