Amazon reached out to me for an interview to help their Echo Frames offline distribution (retail channels outside of Amazon) a bit nervous about the interview since I never interviewed for Amazon before , any tips or suggestions for the interview? (It’s with the hiring manager , recruiter already vetted me)

I genuinely feel more uncomfortable networking with my male colleagues, and most of my colleagues are male. It feels like if I ask them to hang out or even do something neutral like golfing, it's seen as flirtatious and not professional. So in that way, I definitely feel like we have a disadvantage.

100%, me too! It’s so frustrating, or a sexist joke is made and you just feel uncomfortable
100% agreed. Mainly because men sexualize everything. I hate this world

Absolutely, a sexist joke always has to be made as well

Yes, I’ve noticed that too. A lot of networking seems to happen in spaces or activities that have traditionally been more male-dominated, like golf, or even informal drinks after work. It’s not that women can’t join, but sometimes it just doesn’t feel as accessible or natural.

Totally agree! Why can’t we have a crafting networking event :D we need someone to organise these thing ahah
I started joining more groups that are women-led. While it is a missed opportunity not being included in a lot of those ‘male’ dominated groups, just a lot easier for me to avoid them altogether.

Yeah I can understand that, I may also look into doing that!
