Does anyone have any visibility on raises and promotions? Do career conversations even matter, is there a quota on how many can be promoted, does anyone actually look at an individual's numbers?
Not sure about quota, don’t think there is but probably depends on your team’s staffing plan and budget during the cycles? There’s two raise and promo cycles every year in May and October, so you should put in your career convos around March/April and Aug/Sept so you can talk to your manager early and get them enough time to fight for you - and when May/Oct comes, hold them accountable. Remember to chase and don’t be afraid to fight for what you deserve!
