@A3 but from a productivity prospective, the amount of time it takes to write the post and then check back on the answers has to be more than just a simple google search.

It's probably more likely you'll get precheck and not global entry than vice versa, if you had to be denied one of the two.
With global entry I've never not gotten precheck...
