Most meme'd TAS practice. Never actually come across their work other than a few times for RWI calls
I’m at CR, high volume low fees is spot on. RWI consultants are separate from our TAS team though. I think are work is comparable to any other mid market firm and I’ve been at others.
Been in TAS for a few years. It’s fine for me, I work a decent amount but a lot less than my friends at big4. Pay isn’t the same but if you bring it to an hourly basis it’s probably the same as big 4 or better (in my case). I’ve been here long enough that I’m able to manage my projects pretty well and I almost never work weekends. A few late nights each months but nothing crazy.
Things are a bit down since PE acquisition I’d say, more admin work, more focus on metrics etc but I think that just comes with trying to grow the practice so understandable.
Lots of PTO but nature of the TAS work makes it hard to use it all so most people typically lose a few days at year end (you can carry over 2 weeks).
Not sure where you’re coming from but I think we have a decent practice. Far from perfect but definitely not the worst I’ve seen.
I’m in NYC and still “remote”. I go to the office a few times a week because I enjoy it but can sometimes go a week without going.
Overall my experience at CR has been positive
Corn redneck doesn’t have the best reputation imo
