Does anyone have recommendations for financing a small business that doesn't involve life insurance? I'm otherwise eligible for an SBA but have chronic health conditions and have been denied but all of the sba lenders are not open to a waiver.

I know an unsecured broker but they charge an arm and a leg and I'd end up with god knows how many hard credit pulls and banks to deal with if I go that route.

I know the alternative is raising equity but thats also not preferred.Any help appreciated.

Whenever I got promoted to digital ACD a few years ago, I noticed my pay was much lower than I expected for the market I’m in, hard to find skillsets, performance, and visibility I’ve brought to the agency. I’ve brought this up a few times and was told HR would do research into salary equity, but the convo always fades. I put my foot down with my GCD, and she supports me, but I would like to come to the table with my own research. Where should I be looking for accuracy?

Not looking for the narrative arc of How I Built This or Masters of Scale. Instead, looking to uncover specific problems faced by companies that tried something new for the first time. What did they not see coming, how did they adapt and measure, etc.

The CO-founders said they’d handle the actual offer amount/equity. I joined early so salary is low but I have decent equity.
