Does anyone have recommendations for who to speak with about next steps in my career? Or questions I need to ask myself? I love my current role and have a lot to look forward to in the near future, but I know this is not my forever company. I can’t decide if getting my MBA, PMP, or if I want to stay in my current industry or current type of role would be what I want. Should I just focus on what I have going? I’m 6 years in, and it feels like whatever comes next will impact my career trajectory.

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. I’m interviewing for an EA (not your typical role) to a serial entrepreneur/CEO who is also interviewing for a Chief of Staff. They have mentioned I would make a great CoS based on my prev experience & could see me being a COO in the next 10 yrs. After playing back our last meet, I realise the CEO was trying to tease out of me/get me to probe on interest for CoS role. I am interested but also don’t want to talk myself out of the EA role as I really want to work for this individual – advice pls?
