PwC A3 here in currently in PCS, but looking to make a transfer into ITS after spring busy season, as well as switch offices. What’s the best way to go about this? Not receiving a ton of support from my local office. Can I get staffed on an ITS project before making the transfer to get “my foot in the door,” or is that not a thing? I’m currently a tax senior associate at M&A group with a big four thinking about switching to international tax group because international stuff sounds more interesting. What does international tax group do day-to-day at a big four (heard could be more compliance work)? Will you actually learn the rules on subpart F, GILTY, FDII etc.? And is the workload more constant compared to M&A?

What should the starting salary of a new associate be for its? Please include the company you are speaking of as well. Thank you!
