MFSA: building your own book of business
TFA: building your team’s book
MFSA/TFA: have new business requirement
MFSA: no team support
TFA: team support
Pay can be better in the beginning with MFSA, but TFA can give you the support to be in the game longer with more security.
TFA is better in regards to security, but you are reporting to a team with often their own expectations. Think of joining a team like getting married. Gotta work well together. Some teams will take advantage TFAs. Have to find the right fit.
MFSA is better due to the ability to create something of your own and structure your day how you see fit. You have a lot of independence, but security is not guaranteed and there will be volatile times when business slows down. Frankly, you’ll need a lot of grit to make it through the program.
There are many differences between the two I didn’t mention and would do you good to sit down and talk with an FADP coordinator and an MFSA Performance Manager. Maybe find a few people in role to ask questions.
