I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I attended an M7 and while my student loans were crushing, it has completely revolutionized my path.

MBAs are much less valued in Europe and European MBAs are generally not recruited from / undervalued in the US.
I went to a top EU business school and was fluent in the local language. It changed my life dramatically for the better. I had to put in a lot of work to find the right job afterwards.

Unless you go to LBS, no one cares about the top European schools in the U.S.A. Even for LBS, only banking and hedge funders seemed to know of it. You need to narrow down your job hunt to target geographic industry and industry as soon as possible. So that you can concentrate your efforts on your targets. I wanted to stay in Europe after my MBA, but I didn't know any local languages nor had any work authorization. So I had to restart my job hunting after returning to the U.S.A.; which prolonged my unemployment after graduation. If you are a first-year MBA, start applying for MBA internships now. Many U.S. corporations start hiring for their summer interns in the fall. Ideally, you would need to have your internship secured when December rolls around.
