Work your hot desk
CD 1 policy has NOT CHANGED. You can still work up to 6 consecutive weeks abroad.
For travel work within the USA, I’ve had zero issues with it. Just communicate with your team and make sure you continue to work your client’s time zone. But I’ve done plenty of travel within the US and worked in another state on the days before/after taking time off and it hasn’t been an issue. Hopefully your manager is encouraging you to take the time off though if it’s due to a vacation.
Just so we’re clear. It’s 100% self funded. You need to cover flights, lodging, existing rent/mortgages. Many countries laws won’t allow you to work out of any office. I wouldn’t put much hope behind homeswap unless you want a strange living in your home, plus participation seems light. Just want to make sure you’re aware of the details. It’s a great policy if you are young, single, and without children.
FYI I'm planning on working elsewhere in the United States, not abroad
Thank you appreciate it!
You should ask if it also depends on the account
AFAIK, yes. I was approved on February 3rd to WYW in the UK. For various reasons, I'm not going to do it, but the program is still around.
Work your world is still in effect and it’s AWESOME. You can work up to 6 weeks basically from ANYWHERE in the world! You do it from your Airbnb or wherever you’re staying. One of the best perks in advertising.
You can only do it in one shot, you can’t do six separate weeks in the year from different locations.
