Does tech consulting experience help me get a job at big tech or AI companies?

Im no MBB so sexy tech roles (product, partnerships, strategy etc) are reach. My background sits in lot of tech stuff (enterprise architrcture, poc planning , BP reengineering, AI transformation)

Do tech companies doing lot of B2B stuff with AI deployment etc value this kind of exp? I keep seeing more roles with solution engineering/architect, forward deployed engineer etc.. heard these roles are quite valued

How do you deal with an HR that ghosts you after 3 interviews that went really well? I landed an offer at Deloitte as a sr. consultant, and then negotiated for a managerial role. I was told all interviewers were really happy with me so she would be glad to arrange a reevaluation for the new role(I was interviewed by 2 Sr. Managers & an MD for Sr. Consultant role and will have to take another round with a partner for the managerial position). I tried following up thrice after, no response.

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."
