my thoughts exactly. too many people in Deloitte (not even S & O) have "big dick syndrome" and for the love of god I do not know why
A lot of people here drink the kool-aid and are just mediocre people with no discernible skills or knowledge. I just don't give a fuck and that why I'm mediocre.
I think Deloitte S&O might be considered a little above the rest, but if the employer only knows by name and not group, then likely similar.
I know this app likes to shit on Deloitte, but their exit ops are noticeably better. You see more Deloitte (and strategy&) people working with mixed teams of ex-MBB post-consulting, than you see ex-D's working with the other big-4.
Deloitte is definitely more highly regarded by recruiters and exit op hiring managers. Just do four searches using each Big 4 name and see how many jobs turn up related to strategic roles.
