Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

My current place doesn't do it but we did at my last. It always ended up with the people who did partcipate just got each other gift cards with little to no thought involved. Which to me, wasn't worth it.
My current workplace doesn't but our group is very new and still building. There's only 7 of us and 2 are Muslim. So, I think I will not do it this year.
At my last 3 workplaces (2 being court environments), we did them. If you wanted to participate you filled out a paper with things like favorite color, favorite candy, favorite drink, favorite character, favorite food, etc. We did the 5 days of Secret Santa. First 4 days could not be anything over $5 and the last day couldn't be over $20. We were pretty strict on that so everyone could participate. For instance, one year, one of my 4 days gifts was a pack of napkins with a Llama wrapped in Christmas lights. I still haven't opened them and its been 6 years. I LOVE those stupid napkins! Lol. The person who was the lead organizer would attach each paper to a candy cane and the participants would come by and choose their candy cane.
Sometimes, it was difficult to sneak gifts on desks so we had a bookshelf with a shelf containing boxes labeled with each day of the week and we could put our gifts in there and one of the organizers would place on the desks. I thought it was super fun. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
We’ve done it with our admin team and once with my greater team. We used Elfster. That way people would have wishlists we could choose from and have the gifts delivered to their houses. We’d have a lunch in a conference room and go a “Round Robin” where each person got 3 chances to guess who their Secret Santa was. If they got it wrong the real secret Santa would reveal her/himself. We kept the amount to $25 plus tax.
We haven't done it in a while. Most people seem to have enough shopping to do for friends and relatives and they don't really need another obligation.
