I’m a single parent and mid-level associate, and have been struggling with the increased expectations from pandemic-level work. I do not have the luxury of a full-time nanny, maids or stay-at-home spouses like most of the partners I work with and the expectation that I be available 24/7 (and on zoom) is impossible to keep up with lately. Work was manageable pre-pandemic (and I really enjoyed it) but these new expectations seem unsustainable. Anyone else in the same boat? How are you managing?

I don’t have many friends and I don’t have a best friend.. this really weighs on me. I moved around my whole childhood, had a short studying-filled college experience and as soon as I started working COVID hit.
