Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

You misrepresented yourself and sold them a lemon. Kidding. It’s an interview, and it’s advertising, you’re selling the best version of yourself. No one’s expecting “interview mode” 5 days a week. Do a good job, be a good person, and they’ll be happy.

You pretended to be outgoing. Your boss pretended the work would be award-winning and the hours reasonable. I think it’s a wash.
I go through the same thing. I'm more comfortable in small group settings (less than 5). And I've learned that it's a them problem for not understanding and adapting, not mine (or ours).
If they don't have the capacity to understand that a person can be one way in one situation and another when working, then that's not a situation you want to be in, trust me. It's more stressful in the long run and other people start to take things unnecessarily personal.
Yeah I guess its kind of cute that you were genuinely excited? I dont know—congrats on getting the job, be happy about it, dont beat yourself up. Sounds like once you warm up to the place you could be more effervescent. Or maybe not...anyway they like you! Stop worrying 😃
Being able to turn it on when necessary is a skill you need for the job. Keep bringing that person to the big meetings, but otherwise don't worry about it.
I do it all the time during interviews and when it’s review time, my CD’s say I’m quiet but insightful and my words hold more power when I actually speak. You’re good
You had the appropriate messaging for the audience. Well done!
Everyone's scamming everyone else all the time. It's expected, you're good.
I've interviewed people that are too honest. Like dude, this is advertising, if you're not gonna bullshit me for this job how can I let you talk to clients.
