If you do Lily, you should hire me on your team 🤞
What city is it?
Is that normal for AD pay? I’m a Director at $232k base with 25% bonus but as an Associate Director at my last company I started at $185k base with 20% bonus, and got bumped up to $191k base.
Yes, normal. They bring in new people at higher pay as an AD, but they keep existing employee pay so low, they fall WELL below the market median. Many ADs make less than their Sr. Specialist direct reports. That's not uncommon. Look at the Merck salary ranges. They're huge. And this is why.
Oh the compensation you mentioned is in CAD?
Yes
I think it’s still low for AD in Canada. What I see usually companies who have both US and Canada offices lowball Canadians. Higher expenses, lower range.
Especially in AI, they compare with the smaller AI/tech market and adjust with some irrelevant data roles imo
I had an offer for a Manager position at a small Canadian biotech at 145k + 15% bonus. These seem pretty low for AD…
Merck posted a Director level position with salary range of $173-$272k. That range is large, what’s the norm to expect for an offer
Any clue about the culture at Lilly ?.
how’s compensation at Astrazeneca? I have been hearing about growth targets for 2030
