Not that bad, but hilarious: Senior client sends an absolutely hammered email, that is literally incoherent.
Everyone just pretends it didn’t happen and makes sure not to bother him the next morning.
That’s my exit op. Senior client when I drunk email my MBB team.
Client last name “birch” kept turning into “bitch”.
Oooh I have a good one from my previous firm. We had an all weekend schedule for system maintenance, so we were running a bunch of SQL jobs etc and usually send communication to client and end users after the schedule to let them know that the systems are up and running.
Someone wrote: “The blow jobs have been completed as schedule” in place of “Below”. Genuine error tho.

In my previous job we had a vendor reply to me and some colleagues on a thread which contained some sensitive data, and they accidentally cc'ed a guy working for a direct competitor with the same first name as my boss
Immediate manager mistakenly sent an email that was essentially a Christmas list written in a weird poetic format. It was hilarious.
Not me. But we were bidding on some work and the client procurement lead sent a BCC note to all the candidate firms letting us know they would make a decision by end of the week. Problem was they used a forwarded internal thread that included everyone’s SOWs.

I used to work in IT for a publishing house, one of the help desk staff was the DoD type who spent all day on Internet forums. One day he found an adult video he wanted to check out so he sent the link to his personal email address, the problem was his personal email was “UK-A****-***.com and he accidentally sent it to “UK All Users”, and being a publishing house whose titles include adult books the link was not blocked so each of the companies 4000 employees received an email with a link titled “Sexy Natasha POV”
Miraculously he kept his job
