Haven’t received my official offer letter, however, did receive start date (end of April and all other info regarding salary/benefits). I need to put in my two weeks at my current employer ASAP in order to be able to take some time off in between both jobs yet still awaiting official sign on letter. Please advise.

I have an offer for a company abroad. Originally they wanted me to fly out and start the day after Thanksgiving (not celebrated in their country), but because of the holidays I suggested starting in either December or January with the ability to take some holiday days in December to fly back home for Christmas. Have you ever taken a career slow down? I am feeling burnt out from COVID and the incremental responsibilities thrown my way over the last 5+ years. I feel like my health has deteriorated. I like my company, but I want to do less. I don’t need to be a HR Director, CHRO, etc. With a career slowdown, I am prepared for a lower compensation and would want decent benefits.
