I gave and cleared all the rounds for TCS. Post that they asked me to update my documents on their portal, which i did last week.
But till now i am yet to receive the offer letter from their side.
Can someone guide me on this?? Is it normal to take this much of time? Tata Consultancy

It is legal to possess in California under state law, and state police have jurisdiction over the airport. State police cannot arrest you for possession, even in an airport, as you have not broken state law.
LAX policy is to explicitly allow small quantities of marijuana through security. Higher risk to mail it

you’re fine as long as you don’t wave it in the TSA officer’s face. even then you’re probably fine.
sending contraband through the mail is a federal crime. TSA protocol for finding drugs is to call the police and let them handle. and they don’t look for drugs. the only reasons i could possibly think of to justify sending through the mail vs carrying on are 1) weight - if you want to send quantities that you can’t fit in luggage or 2) international travel (TSA doesn’t care about drugs, but customs definitely does)
everyone who is telling you to mail it doesn’t seem to have the requisite experience to offer advice.
If you take it out of the original packaging, no one can tell. I've done this multiple times... maybe <insert plausible deniability>
LAX has said categorically that it is not their problem. Other airports don’t care either, it’s just not as official.
Dogs can either be trained for bombs or drugs not both. My assumption is that most, if not all, of the dogs you see at the airport are for bombs not drugs.
Actually they are usually cross trained to “hit”’on command by the cop not actually detect stuff. The good ones are not cross trained

I do it all the time in my carry on. Never had an issue. In fact, TSA made a statement saying they are looking for weed anymore

I fly out of LAX every week with my vape pens. They’re unmarked and I could possibly just say they’re tobacco if anybody ever asks, but no one, in the five+ years I’ve been doing it, has ever stopped me, looked at anything in my bag or asked me about it. I usually detach the cartridge from the battery, stick the battery in with my chargers and cords, then put the cartridge in my toiletries. I’ve also flown many times with edibles, just un-package them, stick them in a ziplock and put with any other snack items you have in your bag. They’re food, TSA won’t say a thing. Really not hard or a big deal at all.
I fly with edibles or a disposable vape back from my client state literally every week. You’re fine. Put it in carry on

I agree with mailing them. If you are worried, take them out of their original package, pay cash, use an alias and not the real name. Hope this helps.

As others have said TSA generally doesn’t enforces federal marijuana laws. They can hand you over to state authorities if the state enforced marijuana laws, but it’s a pain in the ass to do. So as long as it’s not large drug trafficker level volumes, fly on
You can quite literally just put them in your backpack/briefcase bag that you carry on, nobody will bat an eye. It’s not like they can see “THC” through the x ray machine - it literally just looks like a package of candy to any TSA employee. Recommend buying something that has sturdy packaging / comes in a sealed container. Smell should not be an issue at all in these types of containers. Cartridges are super easy too, and again are not going to be picked up by dogs. Enjoy!
Go to a candy store and throw everything together in the same bag. Everything looks the same in the X-ray and dogs are more concerned with bombs.
I live in Denver and have friends who take stuff home all the time both in checked and carry on. I do know that TSA has started checking food (not for edibles) in non-pre check lines. If you don’t have pre-check just check the bag. Don’t mail it, definitely more likely to get caught. As an FYI I had a friend try to take edibles back home once in a carry on and forgot to take food out of his bag in a non-pre check line and then panicked and pulled his stuff out of the scanner to get the edibles out (which was dumb), so they found them and all they did was take them away lol. It’s not a big deal.

NYC has taken a look the other way if you’re not bringing back ounces of it. Your biggest concern ifs any drug dogs in NYC airports but given their lax stance on it lately, it’s gonna be slim that they’ll have drug dogs
