Rising Star
Long been that way.
Recruitment doesn’t have to align and meet any tangible SLA and aren’t held accountable and they can blame the hiring teams.
Interviews need to be in Fridays and feedback/decisions input same day and reviews Monday. It needs to be prioritized and it isn’t.
We have become very selective. Every applicant is reviewed multiple times.

I hope so for the sake of the practice and the pension that I do have.
I accepted my new role in April though and conversations with EY continued into March.
Again they initiated the process and recruited me with a particular focus on a key account and that accounts recent acquisition and ongoing integration. So time was important and leadership was already bought in, yet it still dragged.
Tell me about the processes. Deloitte actually pretty fast, took some time in back-and-forth with recruiter before official process, once started all interviews finished in 2 weeks and offer ready in 3rd.
Interviewing currently and D and KPMG have both been extremely fast.
PwC S& is a totally different story, initial outreach from recruiter in June, first interview end of July, been a month now, recruiter been off comms for weeks, and came back last week and said they are still working on it, wanted to confirm I’m still interested, I said yes but come on please
Same story at Accenture. No SLAs and no oversight on recruiters that are subcontractors.
EY-P initial outreach end of June, first interview this week, now waiting :D
Took about 3 months from initial reach out to getting an offer
By the time they got back to me with a rejection, I already received offers from Mck and Bain and signed with Mck
