$95k for an SC seems really low. I know first year Cs making that much.
The SC band has a ridiculous range which makes it very hard. I know SCs without MBA at 101K and then those that go upto 140s like D4 mentioned. Too many factors at play since we have organic folks who make it to SC in 4 years and then industry hired with 10 years prior experience who are brought in as SC.
Get a 1 rating and have a discussion with a PPD close to you that you are concerned (keep it very respectful). Don't expect a huge additional bump but generally if you are low, they will catch it up over a 2 year or so period. So being assertive pays (being aggressive does not)
Wow. That's quite a difference.
Are you asking about Advisory or Deloitte Consulting?
95k hell no. If that's my pay when I get promoted I am out
SC @ $140k, FWIW
I was on the low end as a C as well. I didn't know any better coming in from industry. Once I realized the gap and had performance to back my case; I set up a call to discuss an adjustment to my base pay. I eventually got an off cycle increase and am happy with it. If they don't want you to leave, they will listen. If they agree with your argument they will fix it. Good luck!
You guys do understand that the band blends between titles? Because we need the band to accommodate our homegrown promotes and experienced hires?
I wouldn't be worried. When you get promoted Deloitte will adjust you. SCs start at 95K I think? (Need verification)
Consulting. I'm a consultant now.
Also whatever service line you are in makes a huge difference.
That makes sense. Thank you all
OP, if you don't mind, can you tell how much are you making right now and how many years of experience do you have? I think i also being outplayed by Deloitte recruiter.
.
It depends on rating and what your current salary is. I think 105k is lower end
It definately matters if you are in tech vs S&O
Tech will make less so 95k could be the low range. It also matters of you get an MBA and be one SC. D5 is referring to post MBA S&O or HC SC only
I came from industry. First consulting gig. HC. Make 95k now as consultant.
Non-MBA SCon in tech with 4 years experience from ACN, came in at 137
