@EY HR is negotiating salary a lot .After lots of discussion I asked 18 fixed and 10% variable he said 16-16.5 LPA and variable . I didn’t agree yet.He was explaining how bad the market condition is and how it’s difficult to give this much hike . My CCTC 13.6 LPA. He said he has other candidates he needs to check with them and see if he gets anyone in lower budget . What should I do wait for him to get back ? Is it a trick to lowball ? I am an experienced hire. My case might just take you by surprise. I joined EY GDS 10 months back at 40% hike (leaving PwC) and now Deloitte (DIJV) is offering me 2 level up designation at Manager level with another 40% hike. This has effectively doubled my salary in the last one year bt still I am confused to switch or not considering the amazing bonuses GDS payed off today. Please suggest.

What are the typical differences (+ and -) between PM Role in b2b and b2c organisations? Holding an offer from both, with 10L more in b2b and another b2c paying less. One of my friends works as a Director in Nagarro. She has been there for 7 years and has a CTC of 42 with total yoe 17. Per current trend this is low even though she is a constant top performer. She says that even though delivery people play a pivotal role, they are not paid well. In her team, she sees technical people earning 45-50 at 10-11 yoe. So the factor is 2.5 for delivery vs 4.5 to 5 for technical roles. Per her, this is quite common in Nagarro & she is not an outlier. ctd in comments
